Among the notable selections are fan-favorite shows like Stranger Things: Tales From ’85, Pokémon Horizons, Octonauts, and The Magic School Bus Rides Again. Additionally, beloved films such as Guillermo del Toro’s imaginative Pinocchio and the action-packed Spider-Man: Homecoming have also been included in this groundbreaking effort.
The partnership with SignUp Media introduces an innovative approach to ASL interpretation. Users can add a Google Chrome extension that activates a sign language interpreter in a separate window while the content plays. This method contrasts with what many other streaming services offer, where ASL options are embedded directly within the app.
Research underscores the urgency of this initiative. While captions serve adults well, studies indicate that conventional subtitles do not adequately support children’s learning needs.
