GoodShip secured an $8 million Series A funding round, with Bessemer Venture Partners playing a leading role. This financial injection is earmarked for enhancing GoodShip’s software platform designed to optimize shipping logistics data for companies.
- A diverse clientele comprising KBX Logistics, Kellanova, Mark Anthony Services, and Simmons Foods leverages GoodShip for their financial and analytical demands involved in shipping goods nationwide.
- The enterprise operates on a fully remote basis. The co-CEO duo, Ryan Soskin, who resides in Nashville, and David Tsai, stationed in Seattle, are at the helm. Both Soskin and Tsai bring experience from their time at Convoy, a Seattle-based trucking startup. Additionally, nearly half of the GoodShip team, sharing prior engagement with Convoy, is centralized in Seattle.
- Support also comes from a mix of investors that includes Seattle-centered firms Fuse and Cercano Management, backed further by Ironspring Ventures, Chicago Ventures, 53 Stations, and an array of angel investors.
